Carla Gay Sunga Balingit (born c. 1981) is a beauty queen from the Philippines who has competed at Miss Universe.〔(5 March 2003). (Beauty and Boy ), ''Philippine Daily Inquirer''〕〔(27 May 2003). (Charmers ), ''Philippine Daily Inquirer''〕
Balingit won the Binibining Pilipinas 2003 and represented her country at the Miss Universe 2003 pageant which was won by Dominican Republic's Amelia Vega.
Balingit was born and raised in Pampanga, a province 50 miles from Manila that has produced many Binibini beauties like Melanie Marquez (Binibining Pilipinas International 1979), Violeta Nalus (Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1986), Abbygail Arenas (Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1997), Marilen Espino (Binibining Pilipinas World 1991), Joanne Santos (Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1995) among others. Carla represented Pampanga after she won Miss Mexico, and Mutya ning Kapampangan in 2002.
Carla attended Holy Angel University, coincidentally the school of fellow beauty queens Abbygail Arenas, Melanie Marquez, Marilen Espino, and Violeta Nalus.
